FEMA and IDHS staff can help Lake County residents with uninsured or underinsured storm home damage start a FEMA application, check application status, and get answers to questions. Walk-ins welcome — no appointment necessary.

What to bring: photo ID, proof of address, insurance information (if available), photos of damage, and bank account information for direct deposit (optional).
